Job summary

DriveX is seeking a Senior Manager for Parts Planning & Procurement to lead end-to-end parts supply for refurbishment and aftersales. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies for multi-brand parts, building supplier partnerships, and driving aftermarket business for DriveX branded parts with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and inventory planning.

The position requires 12–15 years in automotive parts procurement, leadership experience, and ERP/SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is mandatory.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in automotive parts procurement and inventory planning.
• Minimum 4–5 years leading teams in automotive spare parts or aftermarket businesses.
• Strong exposure to multi-brand spare parts procurement and inventory management.
• Experience with supplier development, strategic sourcing and demand planning.
• Proven track record of transformation, process improvement and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for multi-brand, multi-model spare parts.
• Build and expand supplier ecosystem across OEM distributors, OES and aftermarket vendors.
• Lead parts planning and order management to meet production and aftersales requirements.
• Drive supplier performance reviews on quality, cost, delivery, fill-rate and service metrics.

• Lead development and sourcing for DriveX branded parts with channel partners.

• Establish pricing and discount structure for all parts procured from dealers and suppliers.
• Ensure timely parts availability to support retail, service and refurbishment operations.
• Analyze consumption to identify expansion opportunities and improve availability of fast-moving parts.

Procurement & Supplier Development

Parts Planning, Cataloguing & database management

• Build demand forecasting models based on sales trends, consumption, and refurbishment patterns to drive stocking policies — reorder levels, safety stock, EOQ, and replenishment.
• Own and maintain the parts master database across all brands, ensuring accurate part numbers, descriptions, upgrade as per OEM changes, and MMV mapping.
• Maintain OEM references, OES information and cross-reference data for accurate part identification.
• Establish and manage pricing and discount structure for all parts procured from dealers and suppliers.

Parts Sales Support

• Ensure timely parts availability to support retail sales, workshops, refurbishment centres, service operations and post sales requirements.
• Analyse parts consumption to identify opportunities for assortment expansion.
• Support revenue growth by improving availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts. Creating a discount structure for increase in parts sales revenue and profitability.
• Build a distribution network for the DriveX range of aftermarket parts.

Process Excellence, Analytics & Stakeholder Management

• Build scalable, repeatable procurement and supplier development processes to support business growth.
• Develop executive dashboards tracking procurement, supplier performance, inventory health, and key operational KPIs.
• Track procurement savings, inventory productivity, supplier scorecards, and service level performance.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Service, Sales, Finance, Product, Technology, and Logistics teams.
• Drive cross-functional projects that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
