The role requires hands-on supervision of operators and contract workers, adherence to GMP and SOPs, and diligent documentation of batch records and production logs. Rotational shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Food Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience in FMCG/food processing environments.
• Hands-on shop-floor management with exposure to line supervision and shift activities.

Responsabilités

• Execute daily production plans and monitor line performance to meet targets.
• Supervise operators, technicians, and contract workforce; conduct shift handovers.
• Ensure SOPs, GMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Maintain 5S, safety compliance, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Monitor materials usage, coordinate with stores, and control wastage.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean, Kaizen, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Track KPIs like OEE, yield, wastage, and safety/compliance scores.

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Production Executive will be responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The role involves managing shop-floor activities, manpower deployment, machine utilization, process adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Execute daily production plans as per the production schedule.
• Monitor line performance and ensure achievement of daily output targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Minimize production losses, downtime, and process deviations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

Shop Floor Supervision

• Supervise operators, technicians, and contract workforce.
• Ensure timely shift handover and maintain production continuity.
• Monitor discipline, attendance, and productivity of the workforce.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and shift meetings.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, Quality Standards, and Regulatory Requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process quality checks.
• Ensure proper documentation of batch records, production reports, and process logs.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality deviations.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and company safety policies.
• Promote safe working practices on the shop floor.
• Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping within the production area.
• Report and investigate safety incidents and near-miss events.

Inventory & Material Control

• Monitor consumption of raw materials and packing materials.
• Coordinate with stores for timely availability of production materials.
• Control wastage and improve material yield.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
• Support cost-reduction and waste-elimination projects.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Food Technology, or related disciplines.

Experience

• 23 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in handling production operations, manpower management, and shift activities.
• Prior experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Edible Products, or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
