Job summary

Gujarat Reclaim & Rubber Products in Mumbai seeks an experienced Production/Operations lead to drive safety, planning, and ISO/IATF compliance across the plant. The role requires hands-on supervision, training delivery, and strong collaboration with union shop floor teams.

Responsibilities include shift scheduling, maintenance planning, and achieving targeted reclaim production while maintaining quality and cost controls. Prior experience in rubber/automotive sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Mechanical is required.
• Experience in rubber or automotive industries preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Safety Ops Deployment.
• Effective utilization of available manpower.
• Preparation of shift schedule for shift workmen.
• Impart training to new workmen to achieve standard output rates.
• Maintain healthy relationships with the union by following terms of the agreement.
• Supervise NF 02 production activities.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations during operations.
• Production planning.
• Plan and execute MOP.
• Aim for targeted production of reclaim first grade 555 grade.
• Control production quality: A/C batch refinement.
• Ensure budgets for machine output are met.
• Predictive preventive maintenance of machinery and materials.
• Ensure availability of consumables with optimum inventory.
• Systems implementation (ISO, IATF).
• Implement integrated management systems (5-S, ISO/IATF).
• Hazard identification, risk assessment and control.

3. Predictive Preventive machine/material management and upkeep of machineries

Qualification:

Diploma/ BE / Mechanical

Experience:

2-5 years from Rubber or Automotive industry.

Job Activity:

1. Ensuring Safety Ops Deployment


2. Effective utilization of available manpower


3. Preparation of shift schedule for shift workmen


4. Impart training to new workmen to achieve standard output rates


5. Ensure proper motivation to workmen to retain them.


6. Maintain healthy relationships with the union by following terms of the agreement.


7. Supervise NF 02 production activities


8. To follow all safety rules regulations during operations


9. Production Planning


10. Planning of MOP and execution of the same


11. Plan and ensure reaching Targeted production of reclaim first grade 555 grade


12. Quality of production to be controlled i.e. A/C batch nature refining quality


13. Ensure that Budgeted Machine O/P rates are achieved


14. Predictive Preventive machine/material management and upkeep of machineries


15. Ensure availability of consumable items with minimum inventory level like wire nets, gaskets, packing material, oils chemicals and effective utilization of the same.


16. Systems Implementation ( ISO , IATF )


17. Implementation of Integrated management system i.e. IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 including 5-S.


18. Responsible for Hazard identification, risk assessment and control


19. Responsible for preparation of Aspect - Impact analysis and studying it To monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all the safety control and parameters on all the equipment in the plant


20. Support to maintain IMS, 5 S certification Six Sigma projects and update documentation

Other General Deliverables:

1. Proper communication with service departments like Maintenance., Stores, RMY and QC


2. Update professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops


3. Maintaining daily reports records like production, packing


4. To complete production data entry in SAP on day to day basis
