The candidate should have a basic grounding in Food Technology or Food Science and be willing to work in shifts. Freshers with relevant education are encouraged to apply and grow with the team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Production Executive with a background in Food Technology or Food Science to join our manufacturing team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day food production, packaging, quality checks, and dispatch operations. The role requires a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards to ensure that all products meet applicable regulatory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Manufacturing Operations

• Execute daily batch manufacturing activities for various SKUs in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor raw material weighing, blending, sieving, and batch preparation processes.
• Maintain accurate batch records and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage during production.
• Monitor production activities and report operational issues to the reporting manager.

2. Packaging & Dispatch Operations

• Handle primary and secondary packaging activities, including pouch filling, batch coding, labeling, and boxing.
• Verify product weight, batch numbers, MRP, labeling accuracy, and tamper-proof sealing before dispatch.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Support inventory tracking and maintain proper records of packaged and dispatched products.

3. Quality, Hygiene & Food Safety

• Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and sanitation procedures.
• Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI regulations and relevant food safety standards, including HACCP and ISO requirements.
• Conduct regular hygiene checks of production personnel, equipment, and manufacturing areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols throughout the production process.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate Batch Production Records (BPRs), cleaning and sanitation logs, and dispatch documentation.
• Ensure production and quality records are updated accurately and on time.
• Report equipment malfunctions, production delays, process deviations, and quality issues to the reporting manager.
• Assist in maintaining documentation for internal audits and food safety compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Science & Nutrition, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, food processing, nutraceuticals, or related industries.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of food manufacturing and processing operations.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, including FSSAI, GMP, GHP, and HACCP.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, hygiene practices, and production documentation is an advantage.

Key Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and food safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with production, quality, warehouse, and logistics teams.
