Job summary

Mrs Bectors Foods Specialities Ltd in Punjab seeks a Production Operations professional responsible for daily production activities across shifts to ensure targets are met and operations run smoothly.

You will monitor planning, line performance, quality, and safety, ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance, and coordinating with Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse teams to resolve issues promptly.

Candidates should have a B.Tech./M.Tech in Food Technology and 1–3 years' experience with rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Oversee and execute daily production activities across assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production plans and targets.
• Production Planning & Monitoring: Monitor production output, line performance, process parameters, and operational efficiency to minimize downtime and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent product quality by adhering to approved specifications, SOPs, and established quality parameters throughout the manufacturing process.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, GHP, HACCP principles, hygiene requirements, and applicable statutory and regulatory guidelines.
• Process Monitoring: Regularly monitor production processes, identify deviations, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the Quality team.
• Production Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production output, material consumption, process losses, downtime, rejection, and shift-wise performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives related to productivity improvement, process optimization, 5S, Kaizen, and operational excellence.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted production and timely resolution of operational challenges.
