Job summary

Real Instant Foods in West Bengaluru (Kengeri/Kumbalagodu) seeks an experienced Production and Supply Chain Manager to run day-to-day production at the Kumbalagodu factory, plan against POs, manage changeovers and maintain batch traceability.

You will ensure food safety, lead audits, oversee quality checks, maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory and coordinate dispatches to modern trade across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in food processing production or supply chain.
• Hands-on with processing machinery such as destoners, colour sorters, mills, roasters and FFS packing machines.
• Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP and GMP; exposure to FSSC 22000 or BRC audits is a plus.
• Experience supplying modern trade or quick-commerce platforms is a strong plus.
• Understanding of commodity buying and APMC markets.
• Comfortable with data: Excel and ERP; tracking yields, costs and stock.
• Strong shop floor people management, including handling contract labour.
• Kannada and Hindi preferred; English for reporting.
• Graduate in Food Technology, Engineering or Agriculture; MBA in Operations/Supply Chain is a plus.
• Based in or willing to relocate to West Bengaluru (Kengeri/Kumbalagodu).

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day production at our Kumbalagodu factory: cleaning, sorting, grading, milling, roasting, seasoning and packing lines.
• Plan production against customer POs across our own brand and private label SKUs, and manage changeovers.
• Track yield, wastage and conversion cost per kg for every batch, and report variances.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP) and lead the factory through audits.
• Oversee quality checks: moisture, foreign matter, infestation control, packing weight variance, shelf life.
• Maintain batch traceability from raw material lot to finished pack.
• Procure grains, pulses and packaging material: vendor selection, quality checks at source, timing purchases around price and season.
• Manage raw material, packaging and finished goods inventory with FIFO/FEFO.
• Coordinate dispatches to modern trade and quick-commerce customers across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries.
• Resolve GRN shortages, rejections and debit notes with customers.
• Manage shift planning, contract labour and the factory team.
• Keep production and inventory data updated in our in-house ERP.

Preferred candidate profile

• 510 years in food processing production and/or supply chain, ideally in grains, pulses, flour, dry fruits or snacks
• Hands-on experience with processing machinery such as destoners, colour sorters, mills, roasters and FFS packing machines
• Working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP and GMP; exposure to FSSC 22000 or BRC audits is a plus
• Experience supplying modern trade (Reliance, Metro, etc.) or quick-commerce platforms is a strong plus
• Understanding of commodity buying and APMC markets
