The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently on design tasks while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams. This role involves creating and maintaining engineering designs, supporting production, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support design engineering activities independently for ongoing and new projects.
• Collaborate with product engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, review and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Provide design support for existing products and resolve production‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, drafting guidelines and best practices.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications and technical instructions.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2‑4 years of experience in mechanical/product design.
• Hands‑on experience in Creo (Creo 4 preferred) and Windchill (PLM).
• Strong expertise in:
  • Sheet Metal Design
  • Assembly Modeling
  • Detailed Drawing Creation
• Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience with Top‑Down Design approach.
• Knowledge of Tubing Design and ETO (Engineer‑to‑Order) projects.
• Ability to create and manage BOM and ECN documentation.
• Strong drawing interpretation and dimensioning skills.
