Job summary

Z Ventures in Vadodara requires a skilled production supervisor to oversee fabrication, machining, welding and assembly, while ensuring adherence to drawings, safety standards, and production targets. You will coordinate with draughtsmen and maintenance teams to resolve discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.

The role focuses on optimizing schedules, monitoring KPIs, reducing downtime, and enhancing quality through data-driven analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes.
• Ability to analyze production data and identify bottlenecks.
• Strong coordination with design and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Review orthographic and isometric drawings during production and coordinate with drafter on discrepancies.
• Oversee fabrication, machining, welding and assembly ensuring blueprint compliance and safety.
• Track KPI/KPR and safety incidents; monitor process improvement areas.
• Develop and optimize production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Prepare production reports and schedule plans vs actual; analyze data to reduce waste.
• Inspect fabricated products, identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with design, sales, and maintenance teams while supervising technicians to meet production targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Orthographic, Isometric drawing review while production, Work with drafter for any discrepancy in detailed drawings, technical instructions, and work orders, while maintaining records of production and material usage.
• Oversee fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes, ensuring compliance with blueprints and safety standards.
• Track KPI/KPR for Floor Associate, Safety Incident, Process Improvement Area
• Develop,monitor, and optimize production schedules, workflows, and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize production downtime.
• Prepare the Production Report, Production Schedule Plan vs Actual,
• Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve quality using tools like SQC and MS Excel.
• Inspect fabricated products, analyse defects to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with design, sales, and maintenance teams while supervising technicians to meet daily, weekly, or monthly production target
