Job summary

Krishna Group in Gurgaon is seeking a Production Engineer (Permanent) to oversee manpower allocation, daily production planning, and shop floor discipline. The role requires 4–6 years of automotive assembly experience and hands-on knowledge of 5S, TPM, and lean methods.

You will manage line balancing, cycle time calculations, and continue Kaizen initiatives while ensuring safety and process improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level English is required.
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4–6 years of experience as an engineer is required.
• Exposure to Assembly Processes in Automotive Industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manpower allocation/shift handling and maintain shop floor discipline. Manage up to 100 manpower per shift.
• Daily production planning and execution.
• Prepare M/C check sheets and 5S check sheets verification.
• Verify Poka-yoke checks as per sheets.
• Prepare daily Production Plan vs Actual monitoring reports.
• Analyze breakdowns, rejections and rework to identify root causes.
• Calculate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Upgrade operator skills and maintain skill matrix and training records.
• Work with Helm (Helium) and high-pressure air leak testing knowledge.
• Maintain takt time, TPM, Jishu Hozen and lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain 5S, Kaizen activities, work instructions and on-line lessons.
• Provide training related to process, product, safety and related activities.
• Knowledge of VSA & IATF audit documentation; Dojo knowledge is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools.

8. Operator’s skill level upgradation and maintain skill matrix & training record.
9. Working knowledge of HELIUM and high-pressure air leak testing.
10. Knowledge about takt time, TPM, Jishu Hozen, lean manufacturing.
11. Good command on line balancing and cycle time calculation.
12. Maintain 5S implementation, kaizen, work instruction and onepoint lesson on line.
13. Provide training related to process, product, safety and other related activity
14. Basic knowledge of VSA &IATF Audit documentation & aware about Dojo Knowledge.
