Job summary

Vertiv Energy in Ambernath, Maharashtra, is seeking a Production Line Manager to oversee UPS production on the shop floor. You will monitor plan vs. actual output, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality and safety, and train new operators.

The role requires hands-on leadership of assembly line activities and collaboration with stores and procurement. The ideal candidate will have a BE/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Production, 5–7 years of manufacturing experience, and strong

• BE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Production required.
• Experience: 5–7 years in manufacturing, managing an assembly line.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills; team player.
• Understanding of Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily plan vs actual output; take corrective actions for gaps.
• Manage resources: human, material, machine, money.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizens on the line.
• Implement Vertiv Operating System (VOS) on the floor; ensure safety and 5S.
• Ensure quality products are delivered and line efficiency is achieved.
• Coordinate with stores and purchasing for material requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators.
• Solve problems through RCAs and lean waste elimination.
• Achieve desired productivity targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor daily plan vs actual output and take corrective action for GAP.
• Resource management - Human, Material, Machine Money
• Drive Continuous improvement and Kaizens on the line.
• Daily work management and Tier accountability through VOS (Vertiv operating system)
• Ensure quality products are delivered.
• Ensure safe environment on the line and drive 5S.
• On the Job training to new operators.
• Achieve desired efficiency and productivity levels.
• Coordination with Store and purchase for material requirement.
• Problem solving through RCAs.
• Utilise lean principle for Waste elimination.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B. E/ Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Production.
