Job summary

Vertiv Co. invites applications for a Production line in charge of overseeing Switch Gear Production at Ambernath Annex factory. The role focuses on monitoring plan vs output, resource management, and driving continuous improvement through VOS.

Safety, 5S, and timely delivery of quality LV switchgear are key objectives. You will train new operators and coordinate with stores for material needs. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in manufacturing, a BE/ Diploma in Electrical or Production, and ERP

Qualifications

• B.E or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Production.
• Production management experience.
• MS Office and ERP knowledge (Oracle/SAP).
• Interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of Lean principles.
• 4–8 years in manufacturing, assembly line management.
• LV switchgear experience is mandatory.
• Grade – P2; Ambernath location; immediate to 60 days notice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily plan vs actual output and take corrective action for GAP.
• Resource management – Human, Material
• Drive Continuous improvement through VOS (Vertiv operating system)
• Ensure quality products are delivered.
• Ensure safe environment on the line and drive 5S.
• On the Job training to new operators.
• Achieve desired efficiency and productivity levels.
• Coordination with Store and purchase for material requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.E / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Production.
• Production management
• Knowledge of MS office and ERP system like Oracle / SAP
