Job summary

Vertiv Energy is seeking a Production Line In-Charge at Ambernath Annex to oversee switch gear production and ensure daily plan execution, quality, and safety on the line. The role emphasises 5S and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.

You will manage resources, mentor operators, and coordinate with Stores and Purchase for material requirements, while applying Lean principles to achieve efficiency and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• B.E./Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Production.
• Production management experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems like Oracle/SAP.
• Interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills; team player.
• Understanding of Lean principles.

• Production line in charge of overseeing Switch Gear Production at Ambernath Annex factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily plan vs actual output and take corrective action for GAP.
• Resource management - Human, Material
• Drive Continuous improvement through VOS (Vertiv operating system)
• Ensure quality products are delivered.
• Ensure safe environment on the line and drive 5S.
• On the Job training to new operators.
• Achieve desired efficiency and productivity levels.
• Coordination with Store and purchase for material requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B. E / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Production.
• Production management

• 4 to 8 yrs. experience in manufacturing Industry managing Assembly line.
• LV (Low Voltage) switchgear experience is Mandatory
