Job summary

Saint-Gobain in Ambernath, Maharashtra, seeks an experienced production professional with 10-15 years in tapes, adhesives, or coating manufacturing to lead operations and optimize Man, Machine, Method & Material.

You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost control, manage a production team, monitor KPIs, coordinate with R&D and planning, and deliver timely dispatches while implementing Kaizen and low-cost automation.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in tapes, adhesives or coating production.
• SAP experience and SAP environment knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage production activities and optimize Man, Machine, Method & Material utilization.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, timely order execution and inventory control.
• Lead the production team and drive KPI achievement and team development.
• Monitor yields, productivity, quality and operating expenses.
• Drive Kaizen and low-cost automation initiatives for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with R&D for new product development and process improvement.
• Handle internal and external audits and prepare MIS reports.
• Develop team skills and build a high-performance production team.
• Coordinate with Planning and Sales for plan vs. actual dispatches.
