Job summary

Vertiv Co in Ambernath is seeking aProduction line in charge for Switch Gear Production to oversee daily output and drive improvements. You will manage human and material resources and ensure on-time delivery of quality products.

Role requires 4–8 years in manufacturing, LV switchgear experience, and familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP. The position includes shift work and on-the-job training of operators.

Qualifications

• B.E./Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Production required.
• Experience in production management in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Lean principles understanding and problem-solving skills.
• 4–8 years of experience; LV switchgear exposure is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily plan vs actual output and take corrective actions.
• Resource management of human and material resources.
• Drive continuous improvement through VOS (Vertiv operating system).
• Ensure quality products and a safe on-line environment with 5S.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators.
• Achieve desired efficiency and productivity levels.
• Coordinate with Store and Purchase for material requirements.
