Job summary

Capco is recruiting a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Bangalore to lead QA automation efforts for web applications. You will develop automated tests using TypeScript or Java, Playwright or Selenium, and cucumber-based BDD in Agile projects, and contribute to backend testing with Rest Assured.

Job Description

Job role - Test Automation Engineer - Bangalore

• 8+ years of hands-on experience working on QA automation using Typescript and/or Java
• Experience in developing test automation for Web applications , preferably using Playwright, Selenium, BDD Cucumber
• Experience in developing test automation within Agile projects
• Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications , preferably using Rest Assured
• Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts , and strong core Java skills
• Strong working knowledge of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing
• Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation, and analysis
• Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration, and regression
• Ability to learn new things, understand architectural-level details , and demonstrate an innovative testing approach
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
• Experience in setting up/using Continuous Integration (CI) tools
