Understand several testing requirements (e.g. functional, technical, automation), and implement them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
Experience in working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects.
Ability to look at the application components and debug the errors witnessed, comprehend the log output for error sources etc. is required.
Connect with database and check for underlying tables and data accuracy by writing SQL scripts as needed.
Define the testing approach to be adopted together with the tools that are best suited for the solution.
Analyse business and testing requirements, create and maintain the test plan, test cases, test suites, test data.
Reviewing design documents, business requirements (Stories), acceptance criteria, within the agile team to build test scenarios for testing activities.
Pro-actively sharing and reporting risks, issues, challenges, blockers and forthcoming tasks to the Scrum Master or Quality Manager.
Accountable to ensure the defects are detected and reported to be prioritised (based on impact) with the Product Owners.
