Capco is seeking a skilled QA Engineer in Chennai with 5+ years of software testing experience. You will review system specs, design and execute test plans, report defects, and support test automation efforts across the SDLC.

The role requires strong communication, English proficiency (C1), and experience with API testing tools like Postman. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is required, with Capco offering a diverse and inclusive workplace in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience with at least one quality control tool (e.g., MS Azure DevOps, Octane).
• Experience with SQL and API testing tools (Postman).
• Experience with test automation and test-driven development.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze systems specifications.
• Create test plans and test cases.
• Execute all levels of QA tests and analyze results.
• Report bugs and help troubleshoot test environments.
• Create and maintain testing documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Own test automation set: develop test scripts for test automation.
• Assist with release coordination as needed.
