Job summary

Capco seeks Automation Testing professionals in Bengaluru for Selenium/Java and API testing roles. You will contribute to automated test suites, verify REST/SOAP endpoints, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve quality.

Capco’s global platform provides exposure to banking and financial services projects. The role requires 5+ years in test automation, strong scripting in Java/Python, and familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Karate or Cucumber.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test automation using Selenium, Karate DSL, or similar tools.
• Strong programming in Java or Python for scripting.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs with Karate, Postman, or RestAssured.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins; build tools Maven/Gradle.
• Version control experience with Bitbucket or Git.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Karate) is a plus.
• Solid STLC understanding and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.

Job Description:

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years in test automation (Selenium, Karate DSL, or similar tools).
• Strong Java/Python (or other OOP languages) for scripting.
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using Karate, Postman, or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Hands‑on with Bitbucket/Git for version control.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Karate) is a plus.
