Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks a Product Manager – Emerging Asset Financing / Structured Finance to help design and execute complex lending solutions for corporate clients in Wholesale Banking. You will assist the Product Lead in structuring transactions, preparing credit analyses, and developing bespoke financing structures tailored to client needs.

You will work closely with RMs and product teams to pitch solutions, create client presentations, and monitor risk across deals.

Qualifications

• Good experience in structured finance / corporate banking.
• Exposure to project finance, financial modelling and credit appraisal processes.
• Experience with NBFC / AIFs / Credit Funds / Real Estate Fund is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of an exposure—from structuring, through deal negotiation, to credit approvals and ongoing monitoring.
• Work with Product Lead and Coverage RMs to pitch bespoke lending solutions to corporate clients.
• Prepare client presentations and pitch materials for structured finance solutions.
• Assist in analyzing client requirements to support development of tailored financing structures.
• Prepare credit appraisal memos, models, term sheets and negotiate transaction documents.
• Monitor deals, track covenants, and highlight emerging risks.
• Support development of new structured lending products and client materials.

Job Purpose:

Emerging Assets Financing sits within the Wholesale Banking division and is a newly established team focused on supporting the structured and tailored financing requirements of Corporate Banking clients. The team specializes in designing innovative lending solutions and creating bespoke structures to meet complex client needs.

The role would support the Product Lead in designing and executing structured finance transactions across sectors. The role involves assisting in structuring innovative and bespoke lending solutions for the Banks clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of an exposure, from initial structuring and deal negotiation to obtaining credit approvals, executing transactions, and ongoing monitoring throughout the life of the deal.
• Work with Product Lead and Coverage RMs to pitch for bespoke lending solutions to corporate clients seeking such solutions
• Prepare client presentations and pitch materials for structured finance solutions.
• Assist in analyzing client requirements to support development of tailored financing structures.
• Preparation of credit appraisal memos / models / term sheets etc and negotiation of transaction-related documentation etc
• Monitor ongoing deals, track covenants, and highlight emerging risks.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support development of new structured lending products for corporate clients
• Assist in preparing client presentations and pitch materials
