Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Navi Mumbai is seeking a design-focused engineer to design and develop plastic parts, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. You will work with R&D, manufacturing and suppliers to optimize designs and validate feasibility using injection molding principles.

Proficiency in Creo or UG (Unigraphics/NX) for 3D modeling, BOM management and documentation, and the ability to perform DFM/DFA studies to improve quality and throughput are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in product design and development of plastic parts.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, material behavior, and tooling.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and detailing using Creo or UG.

• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) with accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize 3D CAD software (Creo/UG) for part design, assembly, and technical drawings.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) studies to enhance product quality and eAficiency.
