Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Mumbai is seeking a skilled Plastic Parts Design Engineer to design and develop plastic components, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize designs and apply injection molding knowledge.

Using Creo/UG for 3D modeling and detailing, you will also manage BOMs and contribute to design for manufacturability and assembly.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in product design and development of plastic parts.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, material behavior, and tooling.
• Proficiency in Creo or UG (Unigraphics/NX) for 3D modeling and detailing.
• Experience in BOM management and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plastic components for various products, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
