Job summary

ABCTrainings is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer in Pune to create 3D models of plastic components and generate detailed drawings using CATIA V5 or UG NX. You will support DFM and feasibility studies, contribute to product improvements, and ensure CAD data is current throughout development.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical and up to 1 year of relevant experience, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year experience in designing plastic components.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and/or UG NX.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
• Update and maintain CAD data and engineering documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams during product development.
• Understand project requirements and incorporate engineering feedback into designs.
