We are looking for a Game Director to lead the creation ofa new 0-1 mobile, free-to-play roguelite connected to an established IP.
This is not a project management role centred on schedules,timelines, task tracking, or delivery coordination. The Game Director owns whatgame gets built and why: its vision, player experience, creative direction,product strategy, relationship with the IP, commercial potential, and evolutionfrom concept through launch and live operations.
You will work at the intersection of art and science,combining creative instinct, player empathy, design judgment, marketunderstanding, data, technology, and business thinking. You will determine whatthe game should become, identify the most important questions the team mustsolve, and make the decisions required to move the product forward.
You will lead Design, Product, Art, Engineering, UX, Data,QA, Production, and Project Management around a coherent game vision. ProjectManagement will support planning and execution, while you remain accountablefor product direction, creative quality, player outcomes, and the overallsuccess of the game.
You will also serve as the primary creative and productinterface with the IP holders. You will translate the IP into a compellingstandalone game experience, build alignment between stakeholders, navigatecompeting priorities, resolve creative and product deadlocks, and ensure thatdecisions serve both the integrity of the IP and the needs of the game.
