Job summary

Luca Elevators is seeking a procurement and inventory management professional based in Chennai, India. You will source elevator components, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain stock and vendor records to ensure timely material availability for projects.

The role requires 1–3 years in procurement/inventory management and strong negotiation skills, along with proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel. Excellent organizational and communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 12th or Diploma in relevant field.
• 1-3 years' experience in procurement/inventory management (elevator, engineering, or manufacturing industry preferred).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory/ERP software and MS Excel.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure elevator components, spare parts, and raw materials from approved vendors
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Maintain optimal stock levels across warehouse/store locations
• Track inventory movement and conduct regular stock audits & reconciliation
• Coordinate with site/installation teams to ensure timely material availability
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, GRNs, and vendor records
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Liaise with logistics for on-time delivery to project sites
• Streamline procurement and stock maintenance processes
• Maintenance of Documentation, bills, etc
