Job summary

Hair Drama Co. seeks a Procurement Manager for the hair beauty category to own end-to-end sourcing of perfumes, hair extensions, and related SKUs. You will manage vendor relationships, ensure BIS compliance, and align with launches and product teams on feasibility, sampling, and timelines.

Ideal candidates have 10–12 years in beauty procurement, experience with costings, MOQs, and lead times, and a strong track record in global supplier management and regulatory labeling standards.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in beauty/cosmetic procurement.
• Strong knowledge of BIS and ingredient-safety/labelling compliance.
• Experience negotiating costing, MOQs, and lead times with vendors/manufacturers.
• Experience coordinating with product teams on sourcing feasibility, sampling, and launch timelines.
• Experience managing vendor quality and resolving QC issues.
• Experience procuring raw materials and packaging for beauty/cosmetic lines.
• Experience sourcing from both domestic and international beauty manufacturers.

• Report procurement performance, cost trends, and vendor risk to the Commercial Head.

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Beauty owns end-to-end procurement for HDC’s hair beauty category — perfumes, hair extensions, and related SKUs — reporting to the Commercial Head. This role manages vendor and manufacturer relationships specific to beauty/cosmetic products, including BIS and ingredient-safety compliance, and coordinates closely with the Beauty Product Head on sourcing feasibility, sampling, and timelines for new launches.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement for the hair beauty category — perfumes, hair extensions, and related SKUs
• Manage vendor and manufacturer relationships specific to beauty/cosmetic products, including compliance with BIS, ingredient safety, and labelling norms
• Own costing, MOQ negotiation, and lead-time management for beauty SKUs
• Coordinate closely with the Beauty Product Head on new launches — sourcing feasibility, sampling, and timelines
• Track vendor quality and performance, and manage QC issue resolution end-to-end
• Own raw material and packaging procurement specific to the beauty line
• Maintain vendor compliance documentation and ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards
• Report procurement performance, cost trends, and vendor risk to the Commercial Head

Candidate requirements

• 10-12 years of experience
• Prior experience procuring beauty or cosmetic products, ideally perfumes, hair extensions, or adjacent SKUs
• Working knowledge of BIS and ingredient-safety/labelling compliance for cosmetic products
• Experience negotiating costing, MOQs, and lead times with vendors and manufacturers
• Experience coordinating with product teams on sourcing feasibility, sampling, and launch timelines
• Track record managing vendor quality and resolving QC issues
• Experience procuring raw materials and packaging specific to a beauty/cosmetic line
• Experience sourcing from both domestic and international beauty/cosmetic manufacturers
• Familiarity with fragrance or hair-extension or hair-colour supply chains specifically

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; a background in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry is an advantage
