Job summary

Kimirica Hunter International in India seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing of raw materials for manufacturing. You will collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D, Finance, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted operations and cost-effective material supply.

Responsibilities include supplier onboarding, contract negotiations, market analysis, and cross-functional coordination to forecast needs and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of raw materials, ensuring timely availability as per production requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify alternate sources, monitor price trends, and mitigate supply risks.
  • Work closely with Planning and Production teams to forecast procurement requirements and avoid stock shortages.
  • Coordinate with the Quality and R&D teams for supplier qualification, new material approvals, and alternate material development.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and supplier negotiations.
  • Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and commercial competitiveness.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance dashboards for management review.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead the sourcing of raw materials required for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring timely material availability, and driving cost optimization without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.

This role requires close collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D, Finance, and Stores to ensure seamless procurement operations and uninterrupted manufacturing.

.Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement is preferred
.Experienc
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within the FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Chemical industry
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing chemicals, fragrances, packaging materials, oils, surfactants, or other manufacturing raw materials will be preferred
