We are seeking a high‑caliber Purchasing Manager with deep expertise in the beauty and wellness industry to join our team. This role is critical in managing our global supply chain, focusing on high‑quality ingredient sourcing and innovative packaging solutions for our skincare, haircare, and nutraceutical lines.

This is a remote‑first position based in India, requiring strict alignment with US East Coast business hours.

Position Overview

• Location: Remote (India)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST (Night shift in India)
• Experience Required: 10+ Years
• Contract Terms: Initial 1‑month probationary contract to demonstrate value; transitions to a permanent role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet global suppliers for raw ingredients (actives, botanicals, surfactants) and specialized packaging (primary, secondary, and sustainable options).
• Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to ensure maximum ROI without compromising product efficacy or safety.
• Inventory Optimization: Forecast demand and manage stock levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing capital tied up in excess inventory.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure all materials meet international regulatory standards (FDA, EU, etc.) and brand specifications.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with manufacturers and distributors to ensure priority service and early access to new innovations.
