Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai to manage end-to-end purchasing for turnkey interior projects. You will analyse requisitions, source vendors, and obtain quotes, then prepare and track purchase orders through to delivery.

The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Procurement Management, with strong MS Office and Tally skills. You will collaborate with site teams to ensure timely material availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years’ experience in similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement Management / Civil or relevant field.
• Experience in purchasing civil and interior items.

Responsibilities

• Analyse site material requisitions against BOQ and coordinate with vendors.
• Search new vendors, request quotations, and negotiate to maximize value.
• Prepare purchase orders in software and track from order to delivery.
• Follow up with vendors and site teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with site team for accurate material identification and specification.
• Arrange material samples for site meetings and reviews.
• Follow up on invoices and coordinate with accounts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analysing the material requisition received from the site with reference to BOQ.
• Search new vendors for all materials and rate negotiation.
• Taking quotations from various vendors for comparison.
• Preparing Purchase Order in Software.
• Follow up with vendor/ Site Team up till delivery of Material.
• Coordinating with Site Team for proper identification of required material at a required time/required specification.
• Arranging for Material Samples for site meetings.
• Follow up on Invoices and submit in Accounts department.
• Good Negotiation Skills.

SKILLS:

• Prior experience working in the purchasing department in the Turnkey Interior / fit out industry (commercial) required.
• Obtaining bids to realize maximum value from the expenditure of funds in the purchase of materials and services.
• Purchase experience in civil and interior items.
• Software skills include MS Office, Tally.
