Job summary

Innovatione India in Bengaluru is seeking a Procurement Manager (Civil & Interior Projects) with 4–12 years of experience to lead procurement activities for civil and interior fit-out works. You will manage RFQs, vendor selection, rate contracts, and ensure timely delivery in line with project milestones.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor development, cost optimization, and proficiency with Excel/ERP systems to support design, estimation, and project teams.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of experience in procurement for civil construction/interior fit-out.
• Strong experience in vendor development and supplier management.
• Proven expertise in rate contracts, commercial negotiations, and procurement planning.
• Knowledge of GST regulations and audit readiness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of civil and interior fit-out materials, finishes, fixtures, and services.
• Handle RFQs, vendor identification, evaluation, techno-commercial comparisons, negotiations, and PO issuance.
• Finalize Rate Contracts (RCs) and Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs) with key vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain a strong vendor base for interior works and specialized trades.
• Conduct rate analysis, market benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives to achieve procurement savings.
• Coordinate with Design, Estimation, and Project teams for BOQs, technical specifications, and material approvals.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Track market trends, material pricing, and supply chain developments related to interior fit-out projects.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality standards, delivery commitments, and contractual compliance.
• Handle invoice verification and coordinate with the Finance team for timely payment processing.
• Maintain procurement records, comparative statements, contracts, and vendor documentation.
• Support project teams in resolving procurement-related issues and supply chain challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, vendor management, and cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of civil and interior fit-out materials, finishes, fixtures, and services.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 4-12 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, preferably in Civil Construction, Interior Fit-Out, Design & Build, or Turnkey Projects.
• Strong experience in interior fit-out procurement and purchasing activities.
• Proven expertise in vendor development, vendor management, and supplier relationship management.
• Hands-on experience in rate contract finalization, commercial negotiations, and procurement planning.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, quantity analysis, and drawing interpretation.
• Sound knowledge of interior materials, finishes, fixtures, and execution practices.
• Expertise in rate analysis, cost control, value engineering, and budgeting.
• Working knowledge of GST regulations, procurement compliance, and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
