Job summary

TNA ReadyMix in Maharashtra, Thane, India is seeking a proactive procurement specialist to manage material sourcing for cement, aggregates, admixtures and plant consumables across multiple RMC plants. You will identify suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, monitor delivery schedules and ensure spend stays within budget, while coordinating with Plant, Quality, Stores, Accounts and Operations teams.

• Graduate with diploma/degree in supply chain, procurement, commerce or related field preferred.
• Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and cost control.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and ERP/Procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of cement, fly ash, GGBS, aggregates, admixtures, diesel, spare parts and other RMC plant materials.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate price, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Plant, Quality, Stores, Accounts and Operations teams for material requirements.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials at all RMC plants.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules and material quality.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor database, quotations, POs and invoices.
• Track material prices and market trends to achieve cost savings.
• Handle urgent procurement requirements and resolve supply-related issues.
• Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and company policies.
• Coordinate with stores for stock levels and reorder requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
