Job summary

buildAhome in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to handle end-to-end procurement for construction projects, ensuring timely material availability and cost optimization.

You will lead vendor development, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with project planning, QS/Billing, and finance teams while maintaining policy compliance and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of procurement experience in construction projects.
• BE / BTech / Diploma / Graduation; MBA in Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of construction and finishing materials
• Vendor development, negotiation, and rate finalization
• Preparation and release of POs, rate contracts, and agreements
• Coordination with project, planning, QS/Billing, and finance teams
• Ensure material availability as per construction schedules
• Cost control, budget tracking, and price trend analysis
• Handle site-level procurement issues and escalations
• Maintain procurement documentation and policy compliance
• Monitor inventory, logistics, and material consumption
• Lead and guide junior procurement team members
