Job summary

Nextenti Tech Private Limited seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer – MEP to oversee end-to-end procurement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing materials for hospital construction and infrastructure projects. You will drive vendor management, tendering and negotiations to ensure timely delivery and cost control.

Based in Secunderabad, you will coordinate with project teams, review specifications, prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes and supervise procurement budgets to meet project milestones

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor management, tendering and contract negotiations for MEP materials.
• Strong cost control and budgeting capabilities for procurement projects.
• Ability to ensure timely procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Experience coordinating with project teams and site engineers for material requirements.
• Familiarity with hospital construction standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of MEP materials, equipment and systems for hospital construction projects.
• Handle procurement of HVAC equipment, electrical panels, cables, lighting, plumbing materials, pumps, valves and firefighting systems.
• Prepare and float RFQs, review technical specifications and evaluate vendor quotations.
• Prepare comparative statements, conduct price negotiations and finalize purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project, engineering and site teams to understand material requirements and procurement schedules.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Review BOQs, technical submittals, material specifications and commercial terms.
• Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.
• Manage procurement budgets, cost estimates, rate analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications, quality standards and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, delivery documentation and vendor performance reports.
