Reliance Industries (RIL) seeks a procurement professional with civil engineering background to manage service contracts, sourcing and supplier relationships.

You will coordinate with contracts teams, align timelines, prepare requisitions, and optimize pricing while using SAP to drive efficiencies and cost control in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Competenze

• B.Tech/BE in civil is required.
• MBA or similar qualification is preferred.
• 3 to 12 years of experience in service contracting.

Job Accountabilities

1. Understand requirements for services procurement and provide inputs to Contracts Manager in defining overall procurement strategy.

• Align on timelines and spend planning for the assigned items
• Oversee preparation of contracts plan
• Develop demand profile
• Specify sourcing events

2. Assist in the sourcing of critical contracts in alignment with Category Manager & Contracts Manager guidance

3. Execute Orders & Coordinate Expediting

• Receive purchase requisitions / expiring contracts list
• Prepare & release request for Quotation/ Enquiry to the short-listed vendors
• Study offers from vendors, and prepare a comparative statement to aid in selection of vendors, optimization of price and other commercial terms

4. Monitor post-award project contract management

• Implement escalation process
• Enforce supplier feedback mechanism for improvement
• Review contractor feedback; gather feedback from expediting team and supplier

5. Manage Change Order Process

• Participate in routine planning meetings
• Coordinate supplier information / confirmation on the changes
• Additionally, assess and monitor emergency situations and related procurement

6. Manage Supplier Relationships at working Level

• Manage positive vendor relationships at the working level
• Engage with vendors on a regular basis to share organizational requirements and understand their constraints.

7.Use technology extensively to increase efficiency & control costs

• Use the SAP system optimally to drive efficiency and cost optimization

Education Required

• Necessary B. Tech/BE in civil
• Desired MBA/ Similar professional qualification

Experience Required

• Necessary 3 to 12 years of experience in the related Service Contracting field.
• Desired – Experience in Construction / Operation / Maintenance in Manufacturing / Exploration sites is an added advantage
