Job summary

Indian Synthetic Rubber is seeking an experienced Head of Contract & Procurement to lead the Service Contracts function across Plant Maintenance, Production, Administration, HSE, Warehouse and Logistics. The role requires deep knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, GST, and e-tender/e-auction, with hands-on SAP expertise and strong data management. The candidate should have grassroots experience and demonstrate team leadership and supplier relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service contracts for multiple functions (maintenance, admin, production, HSE, logistics).
• Strong knowledge of contract and procurement processes, GST, TDS/TCS, and e-tender/e-auction.
• Experience with SAP-based contract management and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service Contracts department across Plant Maintenance, Production, Administration, HSE, Warehouse and Logistics.
• Manage all service contracts including admin, maintenance, engg, production, transport, CHA and lease rentals.
• Oversee ARC/AMC for services and ensure best value with price indexing and SLA management.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and ensure target meeting and data-driven MIS reporting.

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for leading Service Contracts department and direct all personnel involved in the Contract cell related to Plant Maintenance, Production, Administration, HSE, Warehouse, Logistics, etc.

• Management of All Service Contracts of the Company, Including Admin, Maintenance & Engg, Production, Logistics contract, (Inbound &Outbound Transportation), CHA (Import & Exports), Lease rental (for finished goods Ware house) etc
• ARC for all services. AMC of all Instruments/ equipment / machines.
• Conversant with labour laws, Contract laws, terms and conditions of Contract and commercial principles, GST , TDS / TCS, e-tender, e-auction, reverse/forward auction processes in SAP environment.
• Manage the new / existing contracts and service Level Agreements to ensure that the Contract provides best value. Price Indexing as per terms of contract.
• Strong understanding of procurement systems and technology, in particular Contract management.
• Scrap Sale: Managing scrap sale of the plant. To establish scrap sale contract by E- Auction thru various service providers
• Establish and develop Strong working relationships between organization and suppliers / contractors.
• Meeting Management targets
• At this position candidate is expected to have fare experience of Sourcing of Raw Material (Direct) Engineering Procurement (Indirect), Capex and General Consumables as well.

Preferred candidate profile

• B tech (Mech/ Elect/ Inst / Chem or allied) with minimum 8-12 years of experience
• Person should be efficient in all key area of Contract & Procurement.
• Must have worked at grass root level.
• Must have experience in SAP.
• Should have worked in company of repute.
• Strong analytical & Data Management skills.
• Efficient in working in MS Word, Excel , power-point & MIS presentations.
• Good communication, Team building and communication skills.
