Job summary

JAKSON Group is seeking a Lead Buyer - Manager- SCM in Noida to lead end-to-end procurement for solar manufacturing, project equipment, and services. You will drive strategic sourcing, vendor development, and contract management to achieve cost efficiency and quality.

The role requires 8–10 years in procurement or SCM, with experience in power, energy, or heavy engineering industries preferred. You will manage sourcing for Capex projects in a high-impact manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 9–10 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, SCM, or Buyer functions.
• Experience in Power Plant, Energy, Manufacturing, Steel, Cement, or Heavy Engineering industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for solar equipment, EPC, and MEP packages.
• Drive techno-commercial evaluations, vendor development, and contract management.
• Implement strategic sourcing plans and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
• Review PRs and manage sourcing for Capex, projects, and services.
• Oversee supplier performance and data analytics for cost control.

Role Overview
