The role emphasizes lead times, MOQ/MTQ, SR/ASL/BPA validation, supplier capacity planning, logistics audits, and coordination with quality to resolve issues for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical is required.
• Experience in procurement of mechanical items preferred.
• Knowledge of supplier management and logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Management of suppliers (domestic and imports) as assigned - (PO & Forecasts).
• Optimize logistics protocols and lead time reduction on BUY items.
• Monitor MOQ/MTQ, lead times, planner code and SR/ASL/BPA validation.
• Manage safety stocks sizing and supplier KANBAN.
• Coordinate with Quality to resolve supplier issues and ensure traceability.
• And other tasks assigned by the procurement manager.

• Management of suppliers (domestic and imports) as assigned - (PO & Forecasts)
• Logistic protocols - Settings optimization on BUY items (MOQ / MTQ / lead times /Planner code & Validation of SR/ASL/BPA) , Safety stocks re-sizing & Supplier KANBAN Management, ASN Implementation, Traceability of parts project
• Phasing in / out and production ramp up on BUY/MAKE items
• Supplier capacity follow up, Logistics Audit as per plan and action plan follow-up
• Engineering Change Order application on BUY/MAKE items
• No premium freight to the customer due to delay from supplier or production stoppage
• Suppliers homologation logistic side
• Coordinating with Quality department, purchase to sort out issues arising with suppliers.
• Coordinating with suppliers, for proper paperwork and maintain records.
• Reduction of Dead & Sleeping Stock on continuous monitoring of incoming parts
• To continuously strive for lead time reduction & supplier delivery performance increase
• Coordinate internally for effective Supply chain Management from Input to Output.
• Solving document issues with suppliers related to payment and other issues
