Job summary

You will expedite with vendors, monitor bottlenecks, prepare reports, and coordinate multi-modal transport (rail, road, air) to minimize lead times while building strong relationships with transporters and port authorities.

Job description

• Develop Vendors and negotiate with them to supply the best qualitative products on most competitive

prices.

• Responsible for negotiating the best techno commercial input cost with vendors while bidding in tenders

in India

• Expedite with vendors to ensure timely delivery, clear bottlenecks, monitor, evaluate, prepare reports and

advise the project dep’t. Visit vendor works for rigorous follow up.

• Looking out the logistics, transportation (by rail/road/air) of goods movement for leading to minimum lead

time.

• Responsible for managing logistics of bulk material to the tune of several tones through all modes of

transport viz; air, road and surface, build and maintain good relationship with major transporters, port

management and vessels charters, strategize and deploy the entire supply chain link in a most efficient

and effective manner.

Special Skills

• Good Communication in English (Written & Spoken) and Presentation Skills.
• Knowledge of SAP Module
