Job summary

Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited in Tadipatri, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, seeks a Shift Incharge / Engineer for the DRI Plant. The role oversees DRI plant operations during shifts to keep production safe, efficient and uninterrupted, achieving targets for quality and safety.

You will supervise key equipment, coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams, and ensure SOP compliance. A strong background in DRI processes and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DRI/ steel plant operations.
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering is required.
• Diploma holders with relevant DRI experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise complete DRI plant operations during the assigned shift.
• Monitor Rotary Kiln, ABC Cooler, ESP and auxiliaries.
• Maintain process parameters and product quality.
• Achieve shift production targets.
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Electrical teams.
• Prepare shift reports and handover records.
• Ensure SOP, safety and housekeeping compliance.
• Guide operators and contract manpower.
