Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited is seeking a Shift Incharge / Engineer - Mechanical for its DRI 650 plant in Tadipatri, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment to support safe production.

The incumbent will supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordinate shutdowns, and drive equipment reliability while leading technicians and contract manpower.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a steel/DRI plant environment.
• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with maintenance planning, equipment reliability and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain Rotary Kiln, Cooler, Conveyors, Crushers, Gearboxes, Pumps, Fans and Hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate shutdown planning and execution.
• Reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Operations and Electrical departments.
• Ensure safety, SOP and statutory compliance.
• Lead technicians and contract manpower.

Job Purpose

To ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the DRI-650 plant, minimizing breakdowns and supporting safe production.
