Job summary

Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh is seeking an RMHS Manager to oversee raw material handling for the DRI plant. You will lead RMHS operations, ensure steady supply of iron ore, coal and dolomite, and coordinate with stores, production and maintenance teams.

The role requires 10–12 years of experience in RMHS/steel environments and BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.

Qualifications

BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
10–12 years of experience in RMHS/steel plant operations.
Industry knowledge: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant.

Responsibilities

Manage RMHS operations including unloading, stacking, reclaiming and feeding of iron ore, coal and dolomite.
Ensure uninterrupted raw material supply to the DRI plant.
Monitor conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders, stackers and reclaimers.
Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production and Mechanical/Electrical departments.
Plan manpower and shift deployment.
Monitor inventory and minimize material losses.
Ensure preventive maintenance coordination.
Maintain MIS, consumption and stock reports.
Ensure safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Purpose
To manage RMHS operations ensuring uninterrupted receipt, storage, handling and feeding of raw materials to the DRI plant with maximum equipment availability, safety and efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
