Job summary

Aksh Optifibre is seeking a logistics professional to manage end-to-end import/export activities from Delhi. You will plan air and sea shipments, coordinate with overseas buyers and marketing teams, and ensure on-time delivery in line with sales schedules.

Responsibilities include pre-shipment to post-shipment documentation, LC and COO approvals, and liaising with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in international logistics and EXIM activities.
• Knowledge of LC, COO, and shipping documents.
• Ability to coordinate with overseas buyers and freight forwarders.

Role & responsibilities

• Planning the Logistics Activities of the Air/ Sea Mode


• Pre-planning to meet the Customer OTD -Flight booking, Custom clearance etc. with the help of CHA.


• Handling Re-Export, Sample Shipments.


• Tracking of day to day shipment on timely manner

Preferred candidate profile

• Co-ordination with overseas Buyers, Marketing Managers: Communication with marketing team for the planning of shipment and resolution of issues like LC concern, Delivery term, complexity with Destination custom etc.


• Shipping Instructions and Approval of Shipping bill filling, COO, AWB, BL etc.


• Co-ordination with Freight Forwarder/ CHA/ Shipping line/ Air lines


• New Customer/Ports/Destinations: Working for the all detail to deliver the material smoothly in advance.


• Study the document requirement of consignee port,


• Check airlines availability in case of air mode or coordination from shipping lines for routes in case of transport through sea


• Co-ordination with Dispatch & Packing team for dispatch as per Sales Schedules.


• Co-ordination with Finance Team and Customer for the Delivery in the case of LC transaction and arrange the shipment hold at warehouse and delivery against BRO.

Support in EXIM Activities:

Submission of EP Copy/ BL/ AWB on time to get the on time MEIS benefit.

Documentation:

• Handle all Pre-shipment & Post Shipment Documents both for international logistics


• Handle the shipment of the LC transaction in custom


• Import & Export Documentation Knowledge

Contract Maintenance:

• Management of contract for the Freight forwarder and Domestics Logistics Partner.


• Negotiations with Freight Forwarder/ CHA/ Courier.


• Timely bill processing of Transporter, CHA and in-house coordination for release of payment
