Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking an insurance claims processing assistant to support onshore teams and assist in underwriting activities. You will handle clerical tasks, gather data, and contribute to rating mechanisms for commercial and residential properties.

The role requires attention to detail, strong data handling skills, and flexibility to work day or night shifts in a dynamic BPO environment in Pune.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide research and clerical support to determine claimant eligibility for insurance claims.
• Gather statistical information and supply data for client rating mechanisms.
• Support onshore team and coordinate with underwriting for property quotes.
• Complete rates and premiums; assist with new and renewal accounts, risk assessments, and loss runs.
• Log and set up new claims with the onshore team; ensure information accuracy for all business segments.
• Perform pre-litigation activities and assist with insurance products and underwriting/distribution efforts.

Job description

• Provide research and clerical support to determine whether claimant qualify for insurance claims.
• Gather statistical information and supply data onto rating mechanism provided by the client.
• Provide support and assistance to onshore team.
• Work with the insurance underwriting department by working on commercial and residential properties quotes using rating mechanism.
• Staff will assist with the completion of rates and premiums.
• Perform administrative duties regarding new and renewal accounts, risk assessments, loss runs, and loss ratings.
• Help Onshore team logging and setting up new claims
• Gather, review, and ensure the accuracy of information to determine proper processing for all segments of business.
• Perform various pre- Litigation claims activities for Insurance domain.
• Basic knowledge of company insurance products; support underwriting and distribution activities.
• 1-2 years of insurance BPO/BPM experience preferred.

Skills Required:

• Experience working with spreadsheets.
• Exhibit strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable for both Day/Night shifts.
