Qualifications

• 23 years of EUC/Desktop/Printer support experience.
• Hands-on printer and desktop troubleshooting.
• Diploma/Graduate in IT or related field.
• Certifications in Hardware or Networking desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

• Install, configure, and maintain systems and printers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive EUC Field Engineer to provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop hardware and printer troubleshooting, field support, and end-user issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and accessories.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems, printers, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, software, driver, and connectivity issues.
• Handle break-fix support and coordinate hardware replacements when required.
• Respond to service tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
• Support users with password resets, login issues, and application access.
• Maintain asset inventory and update service records.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors for escalations and issue closures.
• Provide professional end-user support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Printer Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Good hands-on knowledge of Canon, Dot Matrix, HP, Brother, and Kyocera printers.
• Knowledge of printer installation, configuration, troubleshooting, driver installation, connectivity issues, and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot printing issues, paper jams, cartridge/toner issues, drum-related issues, and other common printer problems.
• Hands-on experience with printer hardware support and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and networking.
• Experience with field support / on-site IT support.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Desktop Support Skills

• Hands-on experience in desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of hardware replacement and break-fix support.
• Basic troubleshooting of operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Hardware, Networking, or Microsoft will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

• 23 years of relevant experience in EUC, Desktop Support, Printer Support, or Field Support.
• Candidates with strong hands-on experience in printer and desktop troubleshooting will be preferred.
