Job summary

Primus Global Technologies in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced SAP HCM / Core HR Functional Consultant with deep knowledge of US Payroll to support personnel administration, organizational management, and payroll-related master data.

You will ensure data validation, integration with upstream HR systems, and payroll readiness, while handling employee lifecycle events and contributing to payroll implementation, testing, and production support alongside HR, IT, and payroll teams.

Job Title: SAP HCM / Core HR Functional Consultant US Payroll

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM / Core HR Functional Consultant with strong functional knowledge of Core HR and US Payroll processes. The candidate will be responsible for supporting personnel administration, organizational management, employee lifecycle events, payroll-relevant master data, data validation, and integration with upstream HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on functional experience in SAP HCM / Core HR supporting US Payroll.
• Experience with Personnel Administration (PA) and organizational data.
• Maintain and support payroll-relevant employee master data.
• Strong understanding of SAP Infotypes, Actions, and Effective Dating.
• Handle employee lifecycle events including hire, transfer, promotion, termination, and organizational changes.
• Understand how Core HR data changes impact payroll processing.
• Support integration between Core HR / upstream HR systems and Payroll.
• Perform employee master data validation and reconciliation.
• Support data conversion, migration, and validation activities.
• Ensure employee and organizational data is accurate and payroll-ready before payroll processing.
• Participate in payroll implementation, testing, cutover, and production support activities.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and integration teams to resolve functional issues.
• Analyze and troubleshoot payroll issues originating from Core HR master data or configuration.
