Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a seasoned SAP Payroll consultant to design, configure, and support SAP HCM Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP for India and US payroll scenarios. The role covers end-to-end implementation, workshops, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver compliant, scalable payroll solutions.

You will drive transformation from ECC to ECP, manage interfaces, and ensure successful go-lives with smooth hypercare support across multinational deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 end-to-end SAP Payroll or ECP implementations.
• Experience in global support and AMS engagements.
• Strong exposure to India Payroll; US Payroll exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors ECP for India and US.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Lead payroll workshops and requirement gathering sessions.

Role & responsibilities

Payroll Configuration & Support

• Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Design, build, test, and deploy payroll solutions for India and US payroll requirements.
• Configure payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, payroll areas, periods, retro calculations, and off-cycle payroll.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and perform root cause analysis.

Implementation & Transformation

• Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Lead payroll workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments.
• Support payroll transformation initiatives from SAP ECC Payroll to ECP.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Manage statutory payroll compliance for India including:
• Provident Fund (PF)
• Employee State Insurance (ESI)
• Professional Tax (PT)
• Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
• Income Tax/TDS
• Gratuity
• Full & Final Settlement
• Understanding of US payroll processes including taxation, earnings, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and regulatory compliance.

Integration & Interfaces

• Work on inbound and outbound payroll interfaces.
• Collaborate with third-party payroll vendors, ADP, benefit providers, banks, and statutory agencies.
• Support integrations between:
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Employee Central Payroll
• SAP CPI/BTP Integration Suite
• Time Management systems
• Finance and Banking systems

Testing & Deployment

• Prepare and execute:
• Unit Testing
• SIT
• UAT
• Parallel Payroll Testing
• Payroll Reconciliation
• Ensure successful payroll go-live and hypercare support.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Compliance teams.
• Provide payroll process recommendations and best practices.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 end-to-end SAP Payroll or ECP implementations.
• Experience in global support and AMS engagement.
• Strong exposure to India Payroll.
• Exposure to US Payroll is highly preferred.
