Qualifications

• Master's degree and B.Ed. are mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years teaching experience with at least 5 years as Principal and 5 years as Vice Principal for secondary.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and direction for the overall functioning of the school.
• Develop and implement academic plans, policies, and institutional objectives.
• Monitor teaching quality, curriculum implementation, and student academic performance.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
• Monitor student attendance, behaviour, academic progress, and overall development.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Address parent concerns and resolve academic or administrative issues effectively.
• Manage school budgets, resources, infrastructure, and day-to-day administration.
• Ensure compliance with education-board regulations, institutional policies, and statutory requirements.
• Organize examinations, academic activities, events, meetings, and co-curricular programs.
• Promote extracurricular activities, sports, cultural programs, and holistic student development.
• Maintain accurate school records and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
