Job summary

Motadata is seeking a Presales Consultant for our Navi Mumbai office (or relocation). You will work on IT operations, network monitoring, ITSM, and observability solutions. The role involves discovery, demos, PoCs, and technical documentation while collaborating with sales and product teams.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with NMS/ITSM/APM/RUM tools and be comfortable traveling as required. Prior exposure to Motadata or similar platforms is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NMS, ITSM, APM, RUM, or Observability tools.
• Strong knowledge of Network, Server, App, Database, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Knowledge of APM, RUM, Synthetic Transactions, Distributed Tracing, Log Correlation.
• Observability concepts: Metrics, Logs, Traces.
• Basic networking: TCP/IP, SNMP, WMI, Syslog, NetFlow.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Good API, integrations, and automation workflows.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience in technical documentation and solution design.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose optimized monitoring and ITSM solutions.
• Conduct discovery calls, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
• Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and solution positioning.
• Prepare technical documents: Architecture, Proposals, SOW, BOM.
• Build and run PoCs aligned with customer environments.
• Collaborate with sales to provide technical consultation during the cycle.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and technical bid submissions.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams for feasibility.
• Provide consultation on Infrastructure/Application Monitoring, Log Analytics, and Observability.
• Map pain points to observability use cases and define monitoring strategies.

Presales Consultant - OEM – Navi MumbaiMotadata is hiring a Presales Consultant for our Navi Mumbai office (or candidates willing to relocate).We are looking for professionals with strong domain expertise in IT Operations, Network Monitoring, ITSM, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Observability platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring and service management tools such as Motadata, ManageEngine, SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, PRTG Network Monitor, Freshworks, ServiceNow, or BMC Helix.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer business and technical requirements and propose optimized monitoring, observability, and ITSM solutions
• Conduct discovery calls, technical workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions with customers
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and value-based solution positioning
• Design and prepare technical solution documents including Solution Architecture, Technical Proposals, SOW (Statement of Work), and BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Build and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) aligned with customer environments and use cases
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical consultation during the sales cycle
• Support RFP/RFI responses and technical bid submissions
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams for solution feasibility and implementation planning
• Provide consultation on Infrastructure Monitoring, Application Monitoring, Log Analytics, APM, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, and Full-Stack Observability
• Map customer pain points to observability use cases such as root cause analysis, performance optimization, SLA monitoring, and incident management
• Assist customers in defining monitoring strategies for hybrid environments (On-Premise, Cloud, Multi-Cloud)

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with NMS, ITSM, APM, RUM, or Observability tools
• Strong understanding of Network Monitoring, Server Monitoring, Application Monitoring, Database Monitoring, and Cloud Monitoring
• Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetic Transactions, Distributed Tracing, and Log Correlation
• Understanding of observability concepts: Metrics, Logs, Traces (MLT)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, WMI, Syslog, NetFlow)
• Knowledge of Servers, Virtualization, Containers, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and automation workflows
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills
• Experience in technical documentation and solution design
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements
