Job summary

Emotorad in Pune seeks a seasoned Production Planning & Control professional to drive end-to-end planning and scheduling. You will coordinate with production, procurement, stores, quality, dispatch and supply chain teams to ensure smooth flows and on-time dispatches across the plant.

The role demands hands-on ERP/MRP experience, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to analyze capacity and trends to optimize resources and continuous improvements in dispatch and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4-5 years in Production Planning & Control in manufacturing.
• Hands-on with ERP/MRP, scheduling, inventory planning and dispatch coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Experience in Automotive, EV, Bicycle or engineering manufacturing preferred.

• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on production requirements and forecasts.


• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Dispatch, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely dispatches.


• Monitor material availability, production schedules, inventory, and dispatch plans to achieve production targets.


• Track production progress, material shortages, inventory status, and prepare MIS reports for management review.


• Ensure adherence to production schedules, dispatch plans, and inventory targets.


• Analyze production trends and capacity to support efficient planning and resource utilization.


• Drive continuous process improvements in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and dispatch operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.


• 4-5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) in a manufacturing environment.


• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling, inventory planning, and dispatch coordination.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.


• Experience in the Automotive, EV, Bicycle, or Engineering Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
