We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC) to join our team in Sonipat. In this role, you will be the bridge that connects Manufacturing, SCM, Sales, and Procurement. You will drive production scheduling, optimize material availability, manage inventory control, oversee SAP operations, and streamline dispatch planning to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and execute master production schedules (MPS) aligned with sales forecasts and plant capacity.
• Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Core execution of MRP to ensure uninterrupted raw material availability while preventing overstocking.
• Inventory Management: Monitor, control, and optimize inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods) to improve working capital and minimize aging/obsolete stock.
• SAP ERP Operations: Leverage SAP to manage production orders, track material movements, maintain accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials), and generate operational reports.
• Dispatch Planning & Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement to resolve bottlenecks and optimize lead times.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 8 years of core experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Industry Preference: Manufacturing | Solar | EV | Battery | Electronics | Automotive.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP (specifically PP, MM, or SD modules) is mandatory.
  • Advanced knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory control techniques.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Advanced MS Excel).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and the agility to handle dynamic production shifts and timelines.
