Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts and orders.
• Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for RM, components and ensure no stock-outs.
• Monitor bottlenecks and optimize OEE and line efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to meet targets and manage breakdowns.

This Role:

We are looking for a skilled Manager in Production. Control of all assembly operational aspects including production, plant production development, health & safety within assigned. P olicy guidelines to drive the performance of key result areas on production activities and continuous implementation monitoring.

Responsible for market development, and operational sales work with assigned Key Accounts. Leads sales and product management efforts to assigned Automotive Key Accounts. Leads the selling process for all battery products. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts. Leverages relationship between customer, market and Cygni management. Analyses feasibility of technical specs in RFQ’s.

What you’ll Get to Do:

Job Title: Production Planning & Control Executive - Battery Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly production schedules based on sales forecast, customer orders, and capacity. Plan for cell, formation, assembly, and pack lines.
• Material Planning: Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for RM, components, separators, electrolyte, BMS. Ensure no stock-outs. Track inventory levels & WIP.
• Capacity & Line Balancing: Monitor bottleneck areas like coating, calendaring, winding, formation. Optimize OEE and line efficiency.
• Shopfloor Coordination: Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance to meet daily output targets and handle breakdowns/changeovers.
• MIS & Reporting: Generate daily production reports, variance analysis, OEE, scrap % reports. Share with Plant Head & management.
• NPD/Change Management: Support new product trials, pilot runs, and engineering change notes for battery variants.
• Compliance: Follow safety, 5S, ISO procedures. Maintain documentation for audits.

Required Skills:

Qualification & Experience:

Qualifications: Diploma /B.E/B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 3-4 years in PPC, preferably in battery/Li-ion/lead-acid manufacturing
